Anniversary
JUNE 6—Lena Franklin Church will host the 8th Anniversary Celebration Concert for Rev. Michael and Doris Thomas of Just Right Ministries at 7 p.m. at 400 Westinghouse Ave., Wilmerding. Torchbearers Luncheon
JUNE 7—The Pittsburgh Chapter of the National Black Presbyterian Caucus will host a Torchbearers Luncheon from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Pittsburgh Presbytery, 901 Allegheny Ave., Pittsburgh. The event will recognize six retired African-American Presbyterian ministers who gave many years of dedicated service to the Pittsburgh Presbytery, the Presbyterian Church USA, local Presbyterian congregations and ministries, the African-American community and to Kingdom Building.
