Manchester Citizens Corporation hosted the Manchester Community Block Party ‘14 from 12-10 p.m. at the Manchester Elementary School Playground, located on North Franklin and Fulton Streets, July 19. The event included live music by Beauty Slap, Jacquea Mae & The Savvy Band and 3TG; spoken word; games; competitions; food and more. MCC is hoping to restore the Manchester Day to its former glory, as the community had not had a celebration like this in many years.
