St. John Baptist Church celebrated its 105th anniversary, Sept. 21. The theme was “Holding Strong to Our Faith in God,” with Rev. Dr. Barry Long serving as the guest speaker at the 11 a.m. service and Rev. Hubert Hutcherson, of Shiloh Community Missionary Baptist Church, serving as the guest pastor at the 3 p.m. service. Reverend Alvin Coon is the pastor of St. John Baptist Church.
