ATLANTA –The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will host a recruiting event in Griffin for Personnel Options, a staffing company, Thursday, Jan. 22, to help the company hire 35 full-time production workers for a warehouse in McDonough.
The recruitment will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the GDOL’s Griffin Career Center, 1514 Highway 16 West.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma (GED), and at least six months assembly production experience.
Workers assemble, repair, and clean plastic produce crates, so they must be able to stand during eight-hour shifts.
Salaries range from $7.75 to $9 an hour, depending on experience.
The company will conduct a background check and drug-screening test on selected applicants.
