Baptist Temple Church Gospel Vocal Quest

Selected finalists of the Baptist Temple Church’s Gospel Vocal Quest performed Oct. 17 at the Homewood Library, before a panel of judges who selected the top artist. The winner received a cash award of $500.
Judges for the event were: Emmai Alaquiva, Patricia Prattis-Jennings, Valetta O’Kelly and Mike Rue. The master of ceremonies was Minister Curtis Lewis Jr, who has worked with many local singers.
