Friendship Luncheon
DEC. 26—New Birth Baptist Church, 406 W. Grant St., Duquesne, will host its Friendship Luncheon from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The last Saturday of the month, members of New Birth invite the community from the tri-state area to a delicious lunch, a clothing giveaway for the needy and an enlightening discussion. Music on the Hill
DEC. 30—Beulah Presbyterian Church, 2500 McCrady Rd., Churchill, will host “The Moorehead Family—Christmas Praise” as part of the 2015 Season of its Music on the Hill concert series at 7 p.m. This is the last concert of the season. The Christmas Praise concert is a 27-year tradition for this musical family. The event will feature vocals and family members on the flute, harpsichord, organ, piano, handbells and trombone. Highland Ave., East Liberty, will host its Year-End Examen from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. This contemplative morning of reflection and examination of the past year, and is an opportunity to get in touch with what God has done in the past 365 days.
