It is my mission to keep you up-to-date on what is going on in 15206, also known as East Liberty, S’Liberty or you may now know it as East Side, if you are new to the area.
On Dec. 19, there was an event held at the new Ace Hotel. The Ace was formerly the YMCA. It is located next to the Carnegie Library on Whitfield Street. The event was free and open to the public and featured the photographs of Charles “Teenie” Harris. His photographs grace the stairwell of the Ace that leads from the first floor to the second floor. Ace Hotel Pittsburgh was pleased to partner with Carnegie Museum of Art to host this artistic evening and present the work of Teenie Harris in its stairwell for the next 12 months.
