North Hills Ebony Women Black History Celebration

PACKED HOUSE—Ulish Carter, managing editor of the New Pittsburgh Courier was the keynote speaker at the North Hills Ebony Women annual Black History Month celebration. Carter spoke on the history of the Courier and its current goals and objectives. There were two other speakers after Carter who spoke on the history of the Hill District and living in the Hill, and another on what it is like living with African and African American parents.
