The Martin Luther King, Jr. Nonviolent Peace Prize Luncheon announced

On Monday, April 4, 2016, the 48th anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., The Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change (The King Center) will present its highest award, The Martin Luther King, Jr. Nonviolent Peace Prize to Mr. Morris Dees, Co-founder of the Southern Poverty Law Center.
 
The award ceremony will take place at 11:00am in the Yolonda D. King Theatre for the Performing Arts in the Freedom Hall building on the campus of The King Center. This ceremony is free and open to the public. Immediately following the award ceremony, an award luncheon featuring a keynote address by Mr. Dees will be held at 12:30pm in Martin Luther King Sr. Community Resource Complex (directly behind the Ebenezer Baptist Church Horizon Sanctuary).
