NEW YORK (AP) — PBS’ Gwen Ifill is “doing well” and plans to return to the air around Memorial Day, the network said Monday.
The “NewsHour” co-anchor informed her audience on April 7 that she would be on leave the next few weeks for an undisclosed health issue.
During her absence, “NewsHour Weekend” anchor Hari Sreenivasan has been co-anchoring with Judy Woodruff.
Ifill also will return to moderating “Washington Week,” the network said.
