Today BMMA has unveiled the official programming and speaker line-up for its upcoming BMHxCLTR Fest, event taking place August 16 in Atlanta. This year’s event is free and will spotlight short and feature-length documentaries by Black women filmmakers that are amplifying urgent maternal and reproductive health issues that Black women and birthing people face here in the U.S. and across the Diaspora. Featured films include:

Now in its third year, CLTR Fest is a vibrant celebration and showcase of Black women’s and femmes’ entrepreneurship, innovation, and artistic expression in Black Maternal Health. This distinctive event connects the realms of wellness, technology, business, and creativity to amplify stories, solutions, and cultural expressions that promote birth justice and maternal health equity.  BMHxCLTR Fest focuses on wellness and environmentally friendly businesses, showcasing how commerce can significantly enhance positive Black Maternal Health outcomes.  Attendees can explore a vibrant array of offerings, including:
